We're building it.
Casual astrology apps serve beginners who want daily content. Professional tools serve practicing astrologers who already know the craft. The large and growing audience in between — serious enthusiasts who want real depth — has been largely overlooked.
Astrology has crossed into the mainstream. Tens of millions of people use dedicated astrology apps. It's a category with proven demand, strong retention habits, and a user base that skews toward high engagement. But the product landscape is split at both extremes — and the middle has been left completely unserved.
Top of the Funnel
Tens of millions of downloads. Daily content, social features, personality frameworks. Strong engagement — but built on novelty, not depth. Users who want to go further have nowhere to go.
Professional Tools
The tools of practicing astrologers. Powerful and precise — but designed for and only usable by people with significant prior training. A small, specialized market with no consumer ambition.
The Gap
The large, fast-growing middle: people who use astrology as a genuine personal framework, want real depth and real insight, and are not being served by either end of the market.
The casual apps serve those who are new to astrology.
The pro tools serve those who are already expert astrologers.
We want to build the bridge between them.
Before large language models, astrology apps could calculate charts, but they could not synthesize them into truly personal interpretation. The result was generic insight: readings assembled from keywords, not written for the lived reality of a person's chart and current transits.
Your Cosmos changes that. We synthesize a user's natal chart together with the full field of live transits to generate reports about their actual astrological weather in this moment. Those reports can be shaped for length, tone, and astrological depth, allowing the same system to meet a first-time user, a serious enthusiast, or an advanced practitioner exactly where they are.
The same technology enables something equally important: teaching astrology through the user's own chart. Every concept arrives tied to direct experience — the only way learning actually sticks.
Most astrology apps deliver prepackaged insight, keeping users passive and dependent: the app tells them what their chart means, and their role is simply to consume it.
Your Cosmos is built to do something fundamentally different. It teaches users to recognize connections between what’s happening in the sky and what’s happening in their lived experience, so they can begin generating insight for themselves. This is the difference between giving people fish and teaching them how to fish.
We accomplish this by weaving three components into one coherent experience:
Reports synthesized fresh from the user's live astrological configuration. The AI reasons about the whole active field — not planets in isolation — before producing a single word.
Transit graphs plot every active influence over time. When users see the data and the meaning together, astrology becomes far more intuitive and accessible.
We teach entirely from the user's own chart. Every concept is connected to something active in their life. The translation step that defeats most self-study is gone.
The core user has been using astrology as a personal framework for years. They know their placements. They've read the books, watched the videos, maybe taken a course. Their knowledge feels fragmented — concepts accumulated but not integrated. They want depth, not credentials. And they've already demonstrated willingness to pay for astrology content in some form.
Past the "what's my sign" stage. Interested in transits, aspects, chart synthesis. Frustrated that existing tools don't meet them where they are.
Educated, intellectually serious about the subject. Already paying for astrology content — subscriptions, readings, courses. Not skeptics; earnest practitioners without a pro's infrastructure.
The casual apps stopped feeling true. Daily notifications that could apply to anyone aren't interesting anymore. This user wants something actually about them.
Astrology is a recurring practice. Users who find genuine value return daily or weekly. Churn comes from apps that stop being useful, not from category fatigue.
Astrology apps have over 100 million users globally. Co-Star alone has crossed 20 million downloads. The category has proven retention and an audience with demonstrated willingness to pay. Conservative estimate: 10–15% of existing users are serious enthusiasts who have outgrown what's available and are not being served.
Freemium is the right model for a practice-based product. Free usage builds trust and habit. Credit packs serve occasional users who want insight on demand. Subscriptions serve the users who return regularly for reports, learning, and ongoing astrological context. The model fits the cadence of the category rather than forcing one monetization path on everyone.
The content architecture and product are in place. What we'd love your help with is finding:
The product development side is well-staffed. What's missing is a partner who wants to run the business side: partnerships, distribution, fundraising, and strategy.
If you have a background in consumer software, wellness media, or adjacent categories — and you're genuinely interested in astrology as a market, not just as an asset class — this is the conversation we most want to have. You'd be coming in as co-founder, not as a hire.
Your Cosmos is at the pre-revenue stage with a functional product and active development. We're raising early capital to fund infrastructure, AI cost scaling, and the onboarding experience needed for consumer growth. Low marginal cost structure, high retention potential.
If you're interested in an early conversation about investment, we'd like to hear from you.
If you're an astrology educator, content creator, or wellness-adjacent brand with an existing audience that is underserved by casual astrology apps and is ready for something deeper — we'd like to talk about what a partnership looks like.
Please reach out. We'd love to find ways to collaborate.
Whether you're a potential investor, a distribution partner, a serious astrologer, or someone who wants to run this thing — reach out. We respond to every message.
